Why I'm running
1 in 4 Ward 4 voters cast a ballot in the last election. 1,222 votes were enough to hold this seat.
When a seat feels safe, showing up stops being required. Questions get deflected. Meetings get rare. "We can't do that" becomes the whole answer.
I'm running because Ward 4 deserves a real choice — and a councillor who works for every vote, answers every question, and shows the work.
What I'm running on
Transparency
Show your work
Your councillor should show their work. I will — every vote explained, every quarter reported.
Safe streets
Safe streets now
We've been asking for safer streets for eight years. I will deliver the plan in one.
Delivery
Build what we say we'll build
When the city tears up your sidewalk, you deserve to know when it's coming back — and who to call when it doesn't.
Privacy
Privacy at your door
Your home is private space. My campaign will respect that — and so will my Council vote.
The Porch Light Promise
No one from this campaign will ever knock on your door uninvited.
You invite the conversation. Book a time and I'll show up — online, at a coffee shop, or on your porch if you ask me to.
How this campaign works
Help me get on the ballot
Before I can officially file as a candidate, 25 Newmarket voters need to endorse my nomination. It takes one minute, and it doesn't commit you to voting for me — it just puts my name on the ballot.
- You live in Newmarket (any ward — not just Ward 4)
- You're a Canadian citizen
- You're 18 or older
If that's you and you're willing, I'll bring the form to your door at a time you choose — or we can meet anywhere that suits you.
